He was a member of the 2023 ACC’s Care of the Athletic Heart planning committee and has been regular faculty at the conference since 2018. Dr. Shah has been recognized as a Top Doctor by Baltimore Magazine.

After completing his sports cardiology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, where he helped care for the New England Patriots and Boston Bruins, he created the sports cardiology program and ran the cardiac performance lab for MedStar Health that quickly gained local and national recognition. In that capacity, he served as team cardiologist/cardiology consultant for:

  • Georgetown University Sports Medicine
